Delivery & Collection Terms

We are located just outside of Truro, Cornwall, TR4 9NE and deliver to anywhere in Cornwall. If you are in Devon then please do contact us as we may be able to help.

Delivery and unloading within 10 miles of TR4 9NE

For deliveries within 10 miles there is a minimum order of £100. In addition to the items hire charges there is a delivery charge of 70p per mile, per round trip and a labour charge for unloading.

The cost for delivery, unloading and collection will be confirmed in the initial quote prior to a booking confirmation. Any changes to the items hired after the booking is confirmed may result in an additional charge.

Delivery and unloading above 10 miles of TR4 9NE

For deliveries further than 10 miles there is a minimum order of £250. In addition to the items hire charges there is a delivery charge of 70p per mile, per round trip and a labour charge for unloading.

Locations

Delivery and collection locations must be pre-arranged and allow for, potentially, large vehicular access. Contact details of the person/s taking delivery and returning the items must be given in advance of the hire date.

All items are checked and securely packaged before being transported to the agreed location in our own vehicle.

On delivery we will check everything with you to ensure the correct items and quantities have been delivered. We ask you to allow up to an hour, depending on the number of items, to go through this process and sign the required paperwork.

Please note that we will only unload the hired items from the vehicle, it is then your responsibility to move them to the desired location, unpack them and set them up. You will need to keep all of the original packaging as all items will need to be repacked ready for collection.

Collection

For collection, all items must be removed of debris, cleaned, and all decoration - such as flowers - be disposed of. The company is not responsible for gathering and packing hired items and any additional work or delay incurred as a result of an order not being repacked for collection will be charged at an hourly rate of £50.

Where candlesticks, candle holders and lanterns have been hired, we reserve the right to deduct the cleaning cost from your security deposit to cover any excessive cleaning required due to the deposit of melted wax. If a security deposit hasn’t been paid, but candlesticks and candle holders are returned to us covered in wax, we reserve the right to charge an ‘excess cleaning charge’. We kindly request that non-drip, slow burn candles are used and if you would like any help or advice on sourcing these, please don’t hesitate to ask.

All items must be returned in their original packaging and if necessary, packed in accordance with the guidelines supplied. Failure to do so may result in breakages and therefore charged against your security deposit. You will be charged for any damaged or lost packaging.

The person/s returning the items will need to ensure everything is at the agreed collection point at the pre-arranged time and should allow up to an hour, depending on the number of items hired, to sign the items back over to the company as the condition of the items will need to be checked and agreed.

Client Collection and Return

Depending on the hire items, some may be available for the client to collect and return from TR4 9NE. The company will discuss this option with the client in advance of any booking being secured. Should the company agree to the client collecting and returning in person, the client is responsible for the safe transit of all items and must arrive at the time agreed. Failure to do so may incur additional charges.
